Van is a passionate hairstylist specialized in color and extensions. He is dedicated to creating bespoke hair for the community of Phoenix Az.
While Van loves everything technical about hair, his first priority is communication and making his guests feel heard, understood and educated on the look they're going for.

When Van is away from his Chair he can usually be found playing laserbeams with his sons, or thrifting with Dom.

And when he's not getting quality time with the Fam, Van loves to find new ways to express himself in month-long hyper-fixations such as diamond painting, decoupaging, baking, gardening, crocheting and getting way too into whatever tv series he and Dom are watching.

LIFE OF THE PARTY

Dom is the creative force behind Switchblade's interior. He is also, coincidentally, deeply in love with Van and has been a part of his life since 2020.
If you've ever sat in Van's chair, you know who Dom is because Van is also, deeply and embarrassingly obsessed with Dom.

Dom's favorites include: saag paneer, Woby, gta5 and Silversun Pickups.

HEAD OF SECURITY

Emotional support creature and Familiar to Van. He is the eldest boy and (probably) a dragon reincarnated as a house cat.
His favorite past times include hunting bugs, climbing trees and playing laser-beams.

He knows all, see's all and is also, in fact, just a little guy.

PR LIASON

Middle child, a libra, and obsessed with toilet paper.

His perfect date? A stroll around the neighborhood while you chase him. Followed by him jumping onto a cactus and making you pick off all the invisible needles out of his long luscious fur.
But, remember, he doesn't like being brushed.

In all seriousness, Woby's the best, he's known in his community as That Orange Cat That Wants Everyone To Pet His Belly.

Sweetest quietest baby you'll ever met in your life.

Twig is just as tiny as his name suggests, but he also holds all of the cosmos in his eyes and has a soul made of starlight.
